Austin Ward started out in Real Estate at age 20 as one of the first ever trainee’s in real estate in Queensland. Starting his career at a Victoria Point Real Estate Office, he was introduced to all aspects of real estate from the ground up.
He learnt it all; from supporting the sales team/property managers and reception; assisting in negations between buyers and sellers, conducting open homes/inspections for sales and rentals and handling the receipting of rents and sales deposits.
Austin has held a real estate sales licence from 1996 through to 2002, he then progressed to hold a full real estate licence. In 1998 Austin realised his focus and passion was in Property Management. Since then he has been increasing his knowledge and understanding of property management, being hands on with every aspect of his owners properties and building trust in his relationships with each and every owner.
Since becoming an investment property owner himself, he understands the needs of investment owners and has always been committed to providing the highest level of service to owners and tenants alike.
Opening his own business became a necessity for Austin when he realised he could not give his clients the service they deserved within a franchised real estate office, where, building the rent roll and making money became the priority of the principal instead of giving his clients the best possible attention and service.
After realising the dream of opening his own Property Management company, he is now focussed on applying his knowledge, passion and experience in property management to Award Property Management, ensuring client’s investment properties are managed in the best possible way.
